Changes in Squash Worldwide? 13. December 2007
With the 21st World Men’s Team Championships having just finished I am left with one new thought in mind; when shall the “first to eleven two clear” system become the only Men’s Squash scoring method?
Surely the European Squash Championships 2008 shall now go the same way? I see this as the perfect chance to finally unite the Men’s squash scoring system (surely preferable for the IOC) and to make our sport Worldwide comprehensible. The only remaining question then is how to report the scoring; 11/10 (3/1) or 13/11?
I feel like my friend Steve Cubbins (Squash Site Webmaster) www.stevecubbins.info that the second is preferable, clear to read and understand, and therefore hope someday to see the scores always recorded this way.
One problem though”what about the 17 inch tin?”.
